Dr Rais: Undilah video offended UMNO/BN
TELUK INTAN: The Undilah video clip is not suitable for broadcast because it contains material offensive to UMNO/BN society, Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said.
“The video clip also contains subliminal messages aimed at influencing the PAKATAN RAKYAT audience,” he told reporters after opening an arts appreciation programme in Pasir Salak near here Thursday.
He said the withdrawal of the clip fom the air waves earlier was because it had not received approval from the Film Censorship Board (LPF).
“LPF does not come under my ministry but the Home Ministry, which will make a decision whether the clip can be shown,” he said.
Prior to this, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) had stated that the clip could not be aired on television because it had to receive approval from LPF.
